We need to add the following variables to the NOAA_CIRES-20CRV2 CMORISer in ESMValCore to support ENSO evaluation:

  • Precipitation (Pr)
  • Sea surface temperature (tos) from Omon
  • Zonal wind stress (tauu)
  • Meridional wind stress (tauv)

These variables are required for calculating ENSO-related diagnostics and metrics.
