We need to develop a CMORiser for the CMAP (CPC Merged Analysis of Precipitation) dataset covering the period from 1979 to 2018. CMAP provides a merged precipitation dataset that combines various observational sources, making it valuable for climate analysis.

  • Variable to be added:
    • Precipitation (Pr)

Answering your question about enh vs std

Missing data is flagged with a value of -9.96921e+36f. The enhanced (enh) version has no missing; the standard version (std) does. I would take the enhanced one...
Note that from a coding point of view, this won't change anything...
