Objective

To enhance the educational value of the Minetest Emotions Mod, we aim to base our representation of emotions on established psychological frameworks. This approach will ensure that our mod is grounded in widely accepted theories of emotional classification, making it a more effective tool for teaching emotional intelligence.

Task

• Research and evaluate common psychological frameworks for classifying emotions.
• Select an appropriate framework to use as the basis for the emotional representations in our mod.
• Ensure the chosen framework can encompass both basic and complex emotions.

Criteria for Selection

• The framework should be comprehensive and widely recognized in psychological literature.
• It should offer a clear distinction between different emotions, including basic and complex ones.

To kickstart our research, here are some well-known emotional frameworks we can explore:
