AYUSH-Startup-Portal

Background

The AYUSH sector, which includes Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy, is experiencing rapid growth with numerous innovative startups. However, these startups often face challenges due to outdated, opaque, and decentralized registration processes. An efficient and streamlined registration portal is essential for supporting the growth of AYUSH startups, ensuring regulatory compliance, and integrating AYUSH solutions into mainstream healthcare.

Description

This project involves creating a comprehensive AYUSH Startup Registration Portal designed to simplify and expedite the registration process for AYUSH startups. The portal will provide a user-friendly, secure, and scalable solution to manage a high volume of registrations.

Key Features

  • User Authentication: Secure login for startups, government officials, and other stakeholders.
  • Application Submission: Streamlined forms for submitting registration applications, with clear instructions and guidelines.
  • Document Upload: Easy upload and management of necessary documents to ensure compliance with AYUSH regulations.
  • Status Tracking: Real-time tracking of application status, notifications, and updates for applicants.

Installation

  1. Clone the repository: 
    git clone https://github.com/your-username/AYUSH-Startup-Portal.git
  2. Navigate into the project directory: 
    cd AYUSH-Startup-Portal
  3. Install backend dependencies: 
    cd backend
npm install
  4. Install frontend dependencies: 
    cd ../frontend
npm install
  5. Create a .env file in the backend directory and add your environment variables (e.g., MongoDB URI): 
     MONGO_URI=your_mongodb_uri
 JWT_SECRET=your_jwt_secret

Usage

  1. Start the backend server: 
    cd backend
npm start
  2. Start the frontend development server: 
    cd ../frontend
npm start
  3. Open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000 to access the portal.
