Challenged Test:
ee.jakarta.tck.faces.test.javaee7.cdiinitdestroyevent.cdiinitdestroyevent.Issue2997IT#testGlobalReturn

TCK Version:
Faces TCK 4.1.0

Tested Implementation:
Open Liberty

Description:
Previously in EE 10, Issue2997IT was challenged (via #1734) because it relied on the “abandoned flows” behavior, which is Mojarra-specific and was never formalized in the specification. It was also challenged because it relied on @initialized CDI Events. However, this problem was fixed by spec issue #1739.

MyFaces 4.1 on Open Liberty currently fails this test due to the “abandoned flows” behavior which is Mojarra-specific and still has not been formalized in the specification.

Therefore, we ask that this test be excluded from the Faces 4.1 TCK.

@arjantijms @BalusC Do you have any objection to accepting this TCK Challenge for Faces 4.1?

My opinion here is that the challenge should be accepted due to the test relying on non-spec behavior.
