2016 - 2019 The campaign "Boîtes à Livres Lions" organised for the 100 year anniversary of the movement with the implementation of more than 1300 public bookcases in France.
[Guide of associations 2022-2023 mentions 'more than 1350']

Mapped ? / 1350+ (note it uses generic term. besides, France community agreed to remove some generic name tags.)

Also shown on https://boite.a.livres.zonelivre.fr/boites-a-livres-lions-clubs/

Sidenote: Some Rotary clubs also have a few bookcases complementing a 'voyaging books' campaign. They do not form a network (at least on larger scale)
