When I have two related notes opened in panels I find myself wanting to click and drag headings or page titles to quickly create links between them.
To not interfere with the selection process, there can be a key modifier such as Cmd/Ctrl + the left mouse button to enable drag.

This is interesting! I think this is a great idea. It would be a good opportunity to improve drag/drop in many ways across the application.
