Feature Request:

  1. Treating Folders as note , like note in note in note like a note is a note and a folder like notion, anytype, capcities.
  2. Provide a better overview for project management by treating folders as entities with their own content.
  3. Ability to upload files to notes as attachments.

There is definite potential here for a "lens" that allows clicking on a folder to show a note rather than just the contents of that folder. I would likely handle that with a folder.md file (e.g. My Cool Folder/folder.md). Alternatively, we could use index.md.

With regards to attaching files, this is a situation where the difference between Tangent and the other tools you list becomes key. There is no need to upload those attachments; you can simply place them in the same folder as the notes you want them to be connected to. If you want to link to those files, you can do so with a markdown link, e.g. [My Document](./my-document.pdf).
